Feeling and response are the elements that I am compelled by; landscapes and relationships that are formed, experienced, celebrated and lost, these are what appear in my photographs. I have a strong interest in moving. I travel alone and with people, and it’s like every time is the first time. I photograph the same things again and again; portraits, the sky, trees and who I am with. I am interested in photographs that are open ended, groups of images that evoke feeling over anything else. I find that editing is still the most important part of the photographic process. My work hints at time and place, a personal record of experiences formed through seeing and feeling. To be aware and interested in the here and now, that is what most interests me in photography.
